Mi abuelita was her town's curandera. She was a licensed doctor who gave vaccines but also used many ways passed down from ancestors for healing. She would use cinnamon or peppermint to brew teas for various illnesses and she always kept parrots and other birds for both feathers and their wisdom/company.

Mi abuelito owned a carniceria and fed the less fortunate before opening and after closing each day. He respected and used every part of the animal he chose that day to feed the town.

They were very involved in their town and fierce in their beliefs. They instilled all of that into me and now I am just a Tia Güera talking to the birds, the trees and the rocks I collect. Helping people my guides and ancestors put before me. This space is open for all who believe in loving everyone as they are. No judgments or bullying in any of my spaces please 💕
